Maniben Nanavati Women’s College is a government college established in the year 1972. The college was previously known as Nootan Mahila College. In 1978, the college was renamed to Maniben Nanavati Women’s College. The institute is affiliated to Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women’s University. Further, it is an ISO 9001:2015 certified college. With a CGPA of 3.62, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited Maniben Nanavati Women’s College with ‘A’ grade.
The institute offers a total of 17 courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. BA, B.Com, BAF, MA, M.Com etc. are a few of the degree courses offered. The institute offers admission on merit basis. Maniben Nanavati Women’s College has various national and international collaborations such as Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Udayana University (Indonesia), Fukuoka University (Japan) etc. The campus of Maniben Nanavati Women’s College has modern facilities such as department-based laboratories, well stocked library, fully air conditioned auditorium etc. For students with diverse interests and passion for extra curricular activities, the college has student clubs: NSS and NCC.
